HR Supervisor

The HR Supervisor will oversee daily HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and compliance activities. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple HR functions, support organizational growth, and ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection
Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
Supervise shortlisting and ensure fair, transparent hiring practices.
Onboarding & Induction
Manage employee onboarding programs and induction training.
Ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company culture.
Payroll & Compensation
Oversee payroll preparation and ensure accuracy in salary calculations.
Handle statutory deductions (tax, pension, social security) in compliance with Ethiopian labor law.

Support salary negotiations and maintain payroll records.
Employee Relations & Performance
Monitor probation periods and performance evaluations.
Address employee grievances and maintain positive workplace relations.
Support disciplinary procedures when required.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure HR policies align with Ethiopian labor regulations.
Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and reports.
Prepare weekly/monthly HR activity reports for management.

Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
Support career growth initiatives and succession planning.
 
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and payroll systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and HR software for reporting and payroll management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
